A letter dated June 2, 1998, was received from Pat Pourchot,                   
Legislative Director, Office of the Governor, stating pursuant to the          
veto override (page 4035) of the following:                                    
                                                                               
SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 257(FIN)                                  
"An Act relating to elections, to election officials and election             
workers, to voter registration, and to candidates for election; and            
providing for an effective date."                                              
                                                                               
The engrossed and enrolled copies were transmitted to the Lieutenant           
Governor's Office for permanent filing and the following chapter
